Again, I am bringing to you some great commentaries on the Parshah from the teachers that I find inspiring. Mike Feuer. I took his class on Rav Kook, and now try to read/learn things about this amazing Torah giant wherever I can. So, I hope you enjoy listening to this podcast.
The next drash is from Aviva Goldberg, who I don’t personally know, but like to read her Torah musings. I hope you will find this text inspiring to learn more Torah.
Finally, the lessons of Rabbi Sacks, are of course, worth thinking about – any one of them, really.
And, of course, on a day like today, after another horrific attack that we have witnesses here, in New York City, my mind is going back to the cradle of our nation, the place mentioned in this week Parshah, Elon Mamre, which is, practically, the site of Hebron. Today, my wish is that we never forget where we came from, and where we will essentially return. All of us, regardless of our political views and illusions.
Shabbat Shalom!
