Noshing Across the Nation

Children, Israel, Food, Torah – things I love and talk about often!

About the Shuk – Again

Did you know that Rosh ha-Shana is only a month away? The thought dawned on me during my Shabbat rest. As I started going through my multiple collection of recipes to see which ones I can incorporate Simanim into, I found an old article about the cute cafe we stumbled upon a couple of years ago.

So, I just had to share it with you here. This article in Jerusalem Post is eight years old, and mentions Mizrachi cafe owner as the man behind the very-trendy-now idea of the shuk becoming the best place to eat out at night and during the day of shopping. It brought such nice memories to me, that I decided to share it with you on this hot summer day.

As far as those recipes go, I’ll get to them, I will surely try.

I hope you enjoy!
