Parshat ha Shavuah Verses – Tetzaveh – Noshing Across the Nation

With everything that’s going on, mostly, in my professional life which is closely related to the Jewish world in this country, no time for writing at all.

So, here I am posting a few verses from this parshah that make me think.

I would be very happy to hear your thoughts on these lines.

ב וְעָשִׂיתָ בִגְדֵי-קֹדֶשׁ, לְאַהֲרֹן אָחִיךָ, לְכָבוֹד, וּלְתִפְאָרֶת.

2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, for splendour and for beauty.

ג וְאַתָּה, תְּדַבֵּר אֶל-כָּל-חַכְמֵי-לֵב, אֲשֶׁר מִלֵּאתִיו, רוּחַ חָכְמָה; וְעָשׂוּ אֶת-בִּגְדֵי אַהֲרֹן, לְקַדְּשׁוֹ–לְכַהֲנוֹ-לִי.

3 And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron’s garments to sanctify him, that he may minister unto Me in the priest’s office.

מד וְקִדַּשְׁתִּי אֶת-אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד, וְאֶת-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ; וְאֶת-אַהֲרֹן וְאֶת-בָּנָיו אֲקַדֵּשׁ, לְכַהֵן לִי.	44 And I will sanctify the tent of meeting, and the altar; Aaron also and his sons will I sanctify, to minister to Me in the priest’s office.
מה וְשָׁכַנְתִּי, בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל; וְהָיִיתִי לָהֶם, לֵאלֹהִים.	45 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.
מו וְיָדְעוּ, כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם, אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִי אֹתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, לְשָׁכְנִי בְתוֹכָם: אֲנִי, יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם.	46 And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.
