Noshing Across the Nation

Today is another day when I think that the decision I made a few months ago is the right one. Today, again, I am convinced it is. Why is it so hard to stick to it?

Today.

Of all days.

On this cold one. With snow.

Snow in my life again. Cold. Fever. Apathy.

Like a snow queen I feel. Cold. Sharp. Do not touch me, you’ll freeze!

Not now. Not ever.

It’s good to be cold. Less pain, less weird looks.

Snow is good. Let it cover my heart. Let it snow forever.

Let it snow. Let it bury my home. With indifference.

Why do you cry to return? Why do you try to convince me?

If of all days, you forgot Today! As cold as it was four years ago.
