Just One Verse

A friend of mine just made Aliyah. Originally from Donetsk, she had to run to Kiev from the horrors of the war not wanted by anyone. There, she waited for permission to enter Eretz Yisrael.

As an artist, a jewellery maker, a make-everything-myself lady, she settled in the best place for creative souls – the city of Tzfat, a magical place, where Torah, art,  and mountain air make a mix not found anywhere else in the world.

I wish her the best in her new home just as I wish myself a chance to go there again. Soon.

When the sun’s going down

And the golden your stones start to speak

If we just try to listen

To the stories and cries that are hidden beneath every street…
