A Nice Reminder of the Jewish Food Words

I just couldn’t pass this by. Nosher, a project of the My Jewish Learning has published a mini-dictionary of words related to Jewish foods.

Turns out that I knew them all (go me!) and made most of the great foods it talks about. Of course, there are a couple dishes like schlav or bamia that I wouldn’t like and, therefore, never even heard of. But you may like them!

The article gives you links to many recipes, so I hope you enjoy cooking Jewish foods regardless of wherever they come from.

Here’s to good Jewish food!
